In the state of Texas, the laws set by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) can be quite restrictive. If you are a restaurant, club, hotel, sporting arena, or bar, it is obvious that you need a license to sell alcohol to your customers. Also, if you are a charitable, religious or civic organization that wishes to sell alcohol at events, you must obtain a permit from the TABC.
